The AfriTech Youth Empowerment Initiative (AYEI) is a Pan-African non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young Africans through technology, digital skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship. We are committed to bridging the digital divide by providing African youth with the tools, knowledge, and opportunities needed to thrive in the 21st-century digital economy.
AYEI is designed to identify, nurture, and scale the potential of Africa’s youth, ensuring they have the practical skills, mentorship, and global connections to build meaningful careers, launch innovative startups, and contribute to sustainable development across the continent.
Through a combination of skills training, mentorship, incubation, and advocacy, AYEI fosters an ecosystem where young people can become leaders, innovators, and changemakers in the technology and digital sectors.
To equip African youth with technology-driven skills, mentorship, and opportunities, enabling them to innovate, create, and thrive in the digital economy while contributing to sustainable social and economic development.
Strengthening Africa’s human capital by equipping young people with industry-relevant digital and emerging technology skills, enhancing employability, productivity, and long-term economic resilience.
Catalyzing youth-led innovation through structured mentorship, incubation, and access to early-stage capital to promote sustainable enterprise development and inclusive economic growth.
Expanding equitable access to digital infrastructure, connectivity, and innovation ecosystems to reduce structural inequalities and unlock opportunities for underserved communities.
A continent where every young African has access to the knowledge, tools, and opportunities to succeed in technology and digital entrepreneurship, fostering innovation, economic growth, and social progress.

Student Participant
“Afritech changed how I see technology. Before joining the Afritech Web Development Training, I only used the internet for social media. Within four weeks, I built my first website and understood how the web actually works. The trainers were patient, practical, and inspiring. Afritech didn’t just teach us coding they taught us confidence. I now see technology as a career path, not just entertainment.”
